Wow! A place in maldon town which would easily be missed! This restaurant is incredible, it’s not Bangladesh Indian food it’s Punjabi. I never knew there was a difference within the taste of Indian food until I came here, the chicken fell apart in my mouth with the flavours being succulent, smooth, tangy. This is 100% recommended and we for sure will be coming back. The atmosphere was lovely and when arrived got a very warm welcome, nothing we asked for was a problem and they cater to many dietary needs too.

This 4 month old restaurant located in the heart of Malden serves authentic and creative Punjabi cuisine. We dropped in for lunch and enjoyed the starters of Pineapple Tikka, Lamb Kofta Fondue (a creative spin using paneer), Onion Bhaji and mains of Chicken Jalfrezi and Goan Fish Curry. Everything was delicious and the heat level can be turned up or down upon request. Service was excellent with the owner himself explaining the menu and serving the dishes. The 2 course set lunch is great value at £12.95. Thoroughly enjoyable and we will be back!

The best Indian food I have had in this country. Authentic, real Indian flavours. Everything is cooked to perfection, clearly made with a lot of love and so much skill. Lovely atmosphere, with exceptional service. The waiter with the lovely smile and kind manner is second to none and a huge credit to the restaurant. We can’t wait to return. Thank you!

Lovely group meal at the restaurant last night. The food was delicious, Punjabi cuisine and I loved the difference to the Indian restaurant food I am used to. It was also very reasonably priced. There were equal lists of non vegetarian and vegetarian starters and mains. The manager was attentive, friendly and a delight to speak to about the food and restaurant. The new decor was also beautiful inside and we hear the garden will be open soon. I will definitely be back for more.

We ate here on the 1st March 2025 for my Wife's birthday . It's a very elegant traditional punjab restaurant. The staff are very professional and accommodating. The food is very nice and freshly cooked with a calm relaxed service. It is very expensive in my opinion but we knew this prior to booking but as the old saying goes " you get what you pay for ". We felt this was a cut above your average high street restaurant and was well worth a visit
